How to replace the sliding inner door handle on 2007 Buick Terraza?

The first step to replace a sliding door inside handle requires disabling the power sliding door (PSD) system by removing the psd 15a fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block. This interrupts low current logic power for both lh and rh power sliding door modules (PSDM). The sliding Door Handle clip remover (J42506-A) enables removal of the inside Door Handle clip before extracting the inside handle from the sliding door. Begin by placing the open-end up of the clip inside the open Door Handle until the handle finds its position on the door shaft. Finally push the handle into place. The psd 15a fuse should be reinstalled into the i/p fuse block to restore low current logic power thus allowing both psdms to learn the entire movement range from open to closed position of the psd.
