    Q:
How to replace the inner sliding door handle on Buick Terraza? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first task to replace an inside sliding Door Handle is to disconnect the power sliding door system by removing the psd 15a fuse located in the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block which powers both power sliding door modules (PSDM) at low current logic level. Apply the Door Handle tool (J38742) to remove the inside Door Handle clip after which you can extract the inside handle from the sliding door. Position the inside Door Handle clip with the open end up while inserting it into the handle and then align the handle to the sliding door shaft before pressing down to set the handle. The psd 15a fuse needs to be reinstalled into the i/p fuse block to bring back low current logic power after which both psds become operational but the psdms will need to redo their learning process for complete open and complete closed positions of the psd.

    Q:
How to replace the sliding inner door handle on Chevrolet Uplander? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace the sliding door inside handle requires disabling the power sliding door (PSD) system by taking out the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block. This operation interrupts low current logic power to both LH and RH power sliding door modules (PSDM). The Sliding Door Handle Clip Remover (J 42506-A) enables the removal of the inside door handle clip before extracting the inside handle from the sliding door. Secure the clip by loading it into the inside door handle which should be placed opposite the door opening then push the handle toward the sliding door shaft. Fitting back the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block will complete the procedure and force both PSDMs to relearn the complete open and closed positions of the PSD.
