The first step to replace the front door striker consists of marking its position because this dual-pin component mounts to an anchor plate inside the body lock pillar. Disassemble the screws before extracting the door lock striker together with any present spacers and washer. Reinstall the washer and any taken spacer pieces before putting the striker in position where you marked it. The door lock striker screws need tightening to 25 Nm (18 lb ft) while checking for proper engagement between lock and striker. The necessary adjustment procedures are Lock Striker Adjustment - Door (With Mini Wedge) or Lock Striker Adjustment - Door (W/O Mini Wedge) depending on the condition.

The process to replace the sliding Door Striker at the rear of a power sliding door begins with disabling the psd system by removing the psd 15a fuse from the instrument panel fuse block then unlocking the sliding door. Begin by unscrewing the sliding Door Striker screws followed by removing the striker and shim which needs to be removed from the c-pillar. Reinstall the sliding Door Striker with the shim onto the c-pillar where it should pass through a caged nut situated in an oversized hole to achieve 4 mm (0.15 in) of adjustment. The Door Lock's proper engagement should be checked because any adjustments must occur by shifting the door inside its frame. Although the striker creates door flushness it should not be employed to elevate or lower the door. The latch needs to touch the middle of the striker which requires shim modifications based on proper alignment needs. The sliding Door Striker screws should be securely tightened to 25 nm (18 lb ft). The psd 15a fuse should be reinstalled into the instrument panel fuse block to restore low current logic power which makes the power sliding doors operational but both psdms require learning the full open and closed positions.

The procedure to replace the lower front door striker starts with mat removal from the side door stepwell. Begin by removing the two bolts that fasten the lower striker to the stepwell before taking out the lower striker from the vehicle. Follow the fastener notice for vehicle installation by placing back the lower striker onto position and properly securing everything. The lower striker installation requires two bolts which should be tightened to 10 N.m (89 lb in). You should reinstall the side door stepwell mat during the last step of this process.

You should reinstall the door lock striker in the door opening while following the Fastener Notice before installing bolts to secure it. Twist the retaining bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in) as final tightening procedure.

The striker may fail to engage the Door Lock properly so check the door alignment within the frame accordingly. A proper alignment will be achieved by placing the door latch at the center of the striker or by adding or removing shims accordingly. When you have the sliding Door Striker positioned correctly you should install its screws and apply 25 n.m (18 lb ft) torque. The psd 15a fuse needs to be reinstalled into the instrument panel fuse block to restore low current logic power after which the power sliding doors will work but the modules need to learn the full open and closed positions.

Restore the low current logic power by reinstalling the PSD 15A fuse into the instrument panel fuse block.

Remove the center pillar lower trim to access the anchor plate.

Ensure to align the lock striker with the previously marked alignment marks.

Both PSDMs will need to learn the full open and closed positions.

Install the spacer.

Install the spacer.

Take the side door upper striker out of the door opening.

Remove the bolts that secure the door lock striker to the door opening.

First, remove the bolts that secure the door lock striker to the door opening.

Install the new door lock striker into the door opening.

Install the bolts to secure the door lock striker to the door opening and tighten them to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

Take out the side door upper striker from the door opening.

Remove the rear door opening frame garnish molding.

Reinstall the rear door opening frame garnish molding.

Install the bolts to secure it, tightening them to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

Reinstall the rear door opening frame garnish molding.

Adhere to the Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Position the lower striker back onto the vehicle and ensure to follow the fastener notice.

Adhere to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Remove the lower striker from the vehicle.

Take out the door lock striker.

Remove the rear door opening frame garnish molding.

Take out the door lock striker.

Position the side door upper striker back into the door opening and install the two bolts to secure it.

Open the front door and scribe the location of the existing front door lock striker on the B-pillar with a grease pencil.

Open the front door and scribe the location of the existing front door lock striker on the B-pillar with a grease pencil.

Close the front door.

Take out the rear door lower striker from the floor panel.

Take out the rear door lower striker from the floor panel.

Remove the rear door opening frame garnish molding.

Install the new door lock striker into the door opening, ensuring to follow the Fastener Notice for proper installation.

Remove the striker itself.

Adjust the door within the door frame as necessary.

Remove the lower striker from the vehicle.

Position the door lock striker back into the door opening and install the bolts to secure it.

Ensure to follow the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten them to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Take out the door lock striker.

Reinstall the side door opening frame garnish molding.

Tighten the retaining bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Take out the two bolts that secure the lower striker to the stepwell.

Remove the lower striker from the vehicle.

Take out the door lock striker.

First, remove the bolts that secure the door lock striker to the door.

The bolts should be tightened to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

Install the new striker in its place.
