How to replace the rear Motor and Transmission Mount on 2007 Cadillac DTS?

Vehicle lifting and support access must occur prior to engine assembly support with an appropriate jack before nut removal on the transmission mount and transmission mount bracket. A jack should rise slightly after removing the transmission mount bracket nuts so the engine assembly can detach from its engine frame position. First disconnect the mount from its frame by taking out the bolts and the single nut. Lastly remove the mount itself. Start by mounting the part first followed by attaching bolts and nut to fix the mount onto the frame until it achieves a torque of 50 N.m (37 lb ft). Lower the transmission into position before tightening the mount nut to 50 N.m (37 lb ft) on both the mount and mount bracket assembly. To finish the procedure you should remove the engine assembly support jack and let the vehicle drop to the floor.
