The nuts fastening the transmission mount to the transmission mount bracket need to be removed. A gentle rise of the jack will free up the engine assembly so it can separate from the engine frame. Start by removing the bolts that fasten the mount to the frame followed by the single nut that mounts the frame then take off the mount entirely. Suspend the mount before you start installation steps. Each mount attaching bolt and nut needs to be securely fastened to the frame using a torque of 50 Nm (37 lb ft). Position the transmission and bolt in the mount and mount bracket while tightening the mount nut to 50 Nm (37 lb ft). Finish by removing the engine assembly support jack before lowering the vehicle to the ground.
