    The first step to replace the right engine mount strut requires removal of the surge tank nuts and push pin retainer succeeding removal of the surge tank from the studs so you can place it aside. Start by detaching both engine mount strut brace bolt and nut before removing the engine mount strut brace. Then remove the engine mount strut bolt along with its corresponding strut. Begin the installation process by first installing the engine mount strut while following the Safety Precautions related to Fasteners mentioned in Service Precautions. Proceed to install the engine mount strut bolt while tightening it to 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.). Complete installation by mounting the engine mount strut brace first and then install its bolt and nut while tightening the bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) and the nut to 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.). Set the surge tank on its corresponding studs before installing its nuts and push pin retainer while torquing the nuts to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).
