    A: The crankshaft balancer replacement process must begin with belt drive removal and subsequent removal of brace bolts and the transaxle to engine brace. Proceed by uninstalling the torque converter cover bolt together with its cover. Install the j 44214 and use it to remove the crankshaft balancer bolt. The next step requires front fascia removal while using a suitable adjustable jack to support the frame. The j 41816 must fit properly into position after you lower the frame through right side frame bolt loosening. Apply the pilot remover into the crankshaft end before you install the j 41816 removal tool to detach the crankshaft balancer. To install the new crankshaft balancer position it at the nose end of the crankshaft and apply the j 41998-b until it fits properly. Clean the bolt threads with engine oil then tighten the bolt first to 50 nm (37 lb ft) using j 45059 and continue turning it an additional 120 degrees. Raise the frame to its normal position before inserting the right side frame bolts which should be tightened to 181 nm (133 lb ft). Replace the front fascia on the vehicle followed by removing supports from the frame while extracting the j 44214. Secure the torque converter cover by installing a bolt which should be tightened to 12 nm (106 lb in). The final procedure involves reinstalling the transaxle to engine brace along with its bolts yet tightening them to 47 nm (35 lb ft). Then add the Drive Belt.
