How to replace the rear Motor and Transmission Mount on 2006 Cadillac DTS?

To replace the rear transmission mount, lift and steer the vehicle. Using an appropriate jack support the engine assembly, remove the nuts that hold the transmission mount to the transmission mount bracket. However, lift the jack slightly to raise the engine assembly off the engine frame and take the bolts and the nut holding the mount to the frame. After unmounting, install a newly mounted mount, attaching it to the frame with the bolts and nut according to the fastener notice in service precautions and tighten to a torque of 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs). Take down the transmission into position and fit the nuts to the mount and mount bracket compressing the mount nut to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.). Finally, take out the support jack from the engine assembly and lower the vehicle.
