How to replace the LH Lash Adjuster on 2006 Cadillac DTS?

To replace the left Lash Adjuster, the left valve rocker arms, as well as the stationary hydraulic lash adjusters (SHLA) need to be removed from the bores. Clean and check lash adjusters. When installation, do not stroke or cycle the shla plunger without oil in the lower pressure chamber. Fill the shla with clean engine oil, gm p/n 12378006 or equivalent, making sure not to scratch the pivot sphere region of the shla. Last step, install the new shla's into the bores and fit the left valve rocker arms back.
