How to replace the engine oil pressure switch on 2007 Cadillac DTS?

The engine oil pressure sensor or switch replacement begins with taking out the oil filter adapter. Then remove the engine oil pressure switch from the oil filter adapter When reinstalling move the engine oil pressure switch to the oil filter adapter before tightening it to 16 N.m (12 lb ft). Reinstall the oil filter adapter followed by vehicle lowering then set the engine oil level to full mark. After starting the engine conduct an inspection to search for any oil leakages.
