The front drive axle should be removed whenever four-wheel drive systems are present. Start by depressing the vehicle height and disconnect the generator bracket before proceeding. Beginning with the Engine Mount to frame bolt removal the vehicle should be lifted halfway. To remove the left wheelhouse liner keep the engine supported by any means other than the crankshaft balancer or Oil Pan. A screw-type adjustable jack should be placed under the engine block tab while you access the opening to take out the Engine Mount to engine bolts .
