  A: Starting the Power Steering Pump (LH2) replacement requires users to remove the front air deflector while placing drain pans underneath the vehicle according to need. Removal of drain fluid should start before taking out the air filter assembly and power steering pulley. Disconnect the power steering reservoir outlet hose together with the power steering pressure hose from the Power Steering Pump. After removing the Power Steering Pump to engine mounting bolt along with the power steering bracket to the engine bolts the technician should take out the Power Steering Pump with bracket from the vehicle before separating the Power Steering Pump from the power steering bracket. The first step for installation involves securely connecting the Power Steering Pump to the power steering bracket after which you need to reposition the entire assembly into the vehicle. First install the power steering bracket to its engine mounting bolts with a torque of 50 n.m (37 lb ft) and then install the Power Steering Pump against the engine with 50 n.m (37 lb ft) torque. The power steering pressure hose and power steering reservoir outlet hose should be reconnected after which the vehicle needs cleaning from excess fluid and the drain pans must be removed.
