How to replace the Rack and Pinion Outer Tie Rod End on 2007 Cadillac SRX?

You must start replacement of Rack And Pinion outer Tie Rod End by taking off the tire and wheel assembly. First loosen the outer tie rod jam nut before removing its retaining nut. Detach the outer tie rod by using the steering linkage and tie rod puller (J 24319-B) on the Steering Knuckle while counting the complete turns for alignment reference. Take out the outer tie rod so you can remove it from the inner tie rod. Use the identical number of complete turns when installing which were recorded during removal steps. Secure the outer tie rod to the inner tie rod without applying pressure to its jam nut. Anchor the outer tie rod to the Steering Knuckle followed by tightening the retaining nut to 70 n.m (52 lb ft). Install the tire along with the wheel and perform front toe adjustment.
