The primary fuel tank module requires lifting up a small amount to access the transfer tube before the technician disconnects the tube through the unlocking procedure. The primary fuel tank module together with its new seal requires removal when replacement becomes necessary. The installation requires you to position a new primary fuel tank module seal over the module followed by transferring the transfer tube to the primary fuel tank module through tuube insertion from inside the fuel tank and module position at the opening. The free-moving fuel level float should be positioned correctly before inserting the primary fuel tank module into the fuel tank with proper pressure applied at the encapsulated ring for proper alignment.
