To change the HVAC control module, first thing is to disconnect the battery after which the trim plate and screws retaining the module are removed and then the module itself. Install the new module, screw it and join the electrical contacts and re-attach the trim plate. Do not calibrate controls when self-calibrating make sure that the engine runs in calibration.
