How to replace the inside air temperature sensor on 2007 Cadillac XLR?

Instead of the inside air temperature sensor, first you should remove the knee bolster and driver information center retaining screw, and disconnect the driver information center from the I/P. Next is the inside air temperature sensor, remove this from the driver information center bezel and the electrical connector. During installation, connect the inside air temperature sensor electrical connector, making sure the sensor is completely seated into the driver information center bezel, then install it. Reconnect the driver information center to the I/P, replace the retaining screw and bolt it in to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in) and reattach the knee bolster.
