How to replace the inside air temperature sensor on 2008 Cadillac XLR?

To replace the inside air temperature sensor, dismount the knee bolster first. Next, remove the driver information center retaining screw and remove the driver information center from the I/P. Then, pull off the inside air temperature sensor from the driver information center bezel and the electrical connector. For installation connect the inside air temperature sensor electric connector, making sure that it is fully seated into the driver information center bezel, and then installing the inside air temperature sensor. Reconnect the driver information center to the I/P, install, the driver information center retaining screw and tighten to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in). Finally, reinstall the knee bolster.
