How to replace the inside air temperature sensor on 2009 Cadillac XLR?

To be able to replace the inside air temperature sensor, remove the knee bolster, the driver information center retaining screw, and disconnect the driver information center from the instrument panel. Subsequently unplug the inside air temperature sensor from the driver information center bezel and its electrical connector. Inside air temperature sensor wiring connection, install connector fully into the driver information center bezel, followed by installing the sensor. Reinstall the driver information center to the instrument panel, while making sure to observe fastener precautions and install the driver information center retaining screw, which nuts down to 1.9 Nm (17 lb in). Finally, reinstall the knee bolster.
