How to Change the Cabin Air Temperature Sensor on a Cadillac XLR?

To replace the inside air temperature sensor, remove the knee bolster and the driver information center retaining screw, disconnect the DI from the I/P, and then pull upward on the DI to pop it from the assembly. Then, remove the inside air temperature sensor from the driver information center bezel and the electrical connection. For installation, connect the inside air temperature sensor electrical connector and make sure that the sensor is fully seated into the driver information center bezel before installing the sensor. Repair the driver information center to the I/P and install the retaining screw tightening for 1.9 N.m (17 lb in). Finally, install the knee bolster.
