How to replace the left side engine mount on 2007 Cadillac XLR?

The replacement of the left side Engine Mount starts by removing the front suspension crossmember followed by removal of the Engine Mount-to-Engine Mount bracket nut before detaching the Engine Mount from its bracket. Start the replacement by taking off the Engine Mount heat shield attached to the Engine Mount. Position the Engine Mount heat shield on the mount prior to installation while ensuring it goes on correctly at the locating dowel. Affix the Engine Mount to the engine bracket mount and fasten the Engine Mount-to-Engine Mount bracket nut while torquing it to 58 n.m (43 lb ft). To finish the procedure attach the front suspension crossmember.
