To replace the brake shoes, take all the required tools and lift the vehicle in order to remove the rear brake drum assembly. Clean the brake shoes and adjust them to lessen tension and take out the retractor spring. Remove the park brake cable, grease contact points. Replace the parts and set the rear brake shoes before re-installing the drum.
