2007 Chevrolet Colorado Fuel Pressure Sensor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to replace the fuel pressure sensor on 2007 Chevrolet Colorado?
A: Access to replace the Fuel Tank pressure sensor begins with raising and safely positioning the vehicle to expose the Fuel Tank located through the wheelhouse liner. Users should lower the Fuel Tank when working on crew cab vehicles. Start by taking out the left rear pickup box wheelhouse liner and then disconnect the wiring connector which joins the pressure sensor to the chassis harness. The sensor will be freed from the Fuel Tank module after pulling upward. Installing this sensor requires sensor seal application of clean engine oil that should follow by complete insertion of the sensor into the Fuel Tank module. Reinstall the left pickup box wheelhouse liner after installing its chassis wiring harness electrical connector to the Fuel Tank pressure sensor. Install the Fuel Tank on crew cab vehicles before proceeding with lowering the vehicle.
