How to replace the exhaust heat shield on 2007 Chevrolet Corvette?

In order to replace the exhaust Muffler heat shield, you will need first to remove the left or right Muffler. Then, using the unibit rear rivet pitch, rivet out the left or right Muffler heat shield, and then remove the washers and shield. For installation, place the new heat shield and washers and fasten them with new rivets, then re-install the Muffler.
