Place the Spark Plug port adapter component j 22794 into the Spark Plug opening and seal the valves using compressed air. Using the j 38606 valve spring compressor will compress the valve spring. Afterward you can remove both the valve keys and valve spring cap. Check the condition of the valve spring before installing it and replace the damage-free part with new stock. You can mount the new Valve Stem Oil Seal/spring seat onto the valve guide boss by using a suitable driver. Afterwards install the valve spring and valve spring cap. Press the valve spring compressor j 38606 to compress the spring before you install the valve keys and secure them with valve grease if required. Use the valve spring compressor tool j 38606 to remove valve spring pressure then put valve keys in place. Pull the tool and air pressure gradually off while keeping valve keys seated.
