In order to change the thermostat housing of engine coolant, first, unscrew the bolt of the coolant recovery reservoir, then unscrew the air cleaner assembly and the radiator outlet hose. The next step is to remove the water pump inlet and thermostat as the two components need to be changed simultaneously. Install the parts again making sure that they are tightened.
