2007 Chevrolet HHR Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the clutch hydraulic hose on 2007 Chevrolet HHR?
A: The first step in replacing the hydraulic Clutch Hose/pipe involves removing the ubec. Before starting replace the Clutch Hose/pipe install shop towels beneath both the Clutch Master Cylinder and brake master cylinder reservoirs to contain fluid leakage. First disconnect the Clutch Hose from the Clutch Master Cylinder and brake master cylinder reservoir before draining fluid into a suitable container by disconnecting the clutch line at both the clutch actuator cylinder and transaxle. Install the clutch line by first connecting it between the transaxle and Clutch Master Cylinder then connecting the Clutch Hose between clutch actuator cylinder and brake master cylinder reservoir. Once you remove the shop towel reinstall the ubec and dispose of it properly. The dot 3 hydraulic fluid must reach its proper level inside the brake/clutch reservoir before performing the clutch hydraulic system bleed.
