Carefully check whether the engine should only start if the switch has been adjusted to park or neutral. If it starts in any other position, shift the switch. Finally, connect the transaxle range switch electrical connector and fix the shift control cable to the transaxle range switch lever so that it operates correctly. For a new one, follow similar procedures, the transaxle manual shaft in neutral, alongside the flats, stiffening the bolts to 20 n.m (15 lb ft), and implanting it as previously described.
