How to replace the front side door hinge on 2007 Chevrolet Impala?

Replacement of the front side door hinge begins by opening and supporting the front door. Remove the hinge bolts from the front door as far as the rubber conduit extends then separate the door. Mark the locations for front door hinges on all surfaces by using a grease pencil or suitable marker after cleaning the mounting surfaces with a clean rag. Proceed by taking out the bolts from the front doorside hinge then removing the hinge itself before taking out the bolts from the bodyside hinge and its removal. To install the bodyside hinge align it with the marker points then fasten bolts with a torque of 33 N.m (24 lb ft). Safely mount the doorside hinge adjacent to the bodyside hinge and place intermediate hinge bolts into the front door hinge before securely tightening them to 33 N.m (24 lb ft). After installing the doorside hinge bolts you should tighten them to 33 N.m (24 lb ft) and take away the door support before checking the door function and alignment.
