How to replace the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2007 GMC Envoy?

To change the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, you will have to switch the engine to OFF position and take out the negative battery terminal. Empty coolant, remove connector of ECT sensor and remove sensor. Use thread sealer (where necessary), mount sensor, screw it in, re-attach electric connector and fill the coolant.
