How to replace the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on GMC Envoy?

To remove the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, first, turn the engine OFF and disconnect negative battery terminal. Drain coolant bilzeu level of the ECT sensor and remove ECT sensor electrical connector and take outthe ECT sensor carefully. When installing the original or new sensor, apply thread sealer (P/N 12346004) if you do not apply the sealant. Mount the ECT sensor and fasten it with 16 N.m (12 lb ft). Reconnect the negative battery terminal and refill the engine coolant, and connect the ECT electrical connector.
