  A: To replace the mass air flow (MAF)/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor, you will first remove the 2 screws holding the sensor to the air cleaner assembly and then take the sensor out together with disconnecting the electrical connector. Take care when installing the new maf/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor so that no damage occurs to it, not dropping it and not touching the sensing elements, and to stay away from solvents and lubricants. A little soap-based solution can be employed to help during installation. Insert the maf/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor into the air cleaner assembly, then fix it in place using the 2 screws, screwed down to 2.25 n.m (20 lb in), and connect the maf/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor to the electrical connector.
