You should push in the retainer locking tabs followed by retainer lift to finish removal. Next examine the MAP Sensor seal on the Intake Manifold for damage while obtaining a replacement only when necessary. Clean engine oil should be applied lightly to MAP Sensor's seal for better installation. Reattach the MAP Sensor to the Intake Manifold making sure to insert the retainer then reconnect the electrical connector .
