Begin the installation of an Engine Oil Pressure Sensor or Switch by using proper lifting equipment to elevate the vehicle first. After disconnecting the electrical connector from the oil pressure switch you should remove both the engine shield and the switch itself. When installing your new oil pressure switch make sure to apply 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) of force while tightening it before reconnecting the electrical connector. Wind up vehicle operations after installing new engine shield and drawing down the vehicle.
