How to Service and Repair the Engine Oil Dipstick Tube on 2008 Buick LaCrosse?

The first step toward servicing the engine oil dip stick and dip stick tube is turning off the ignition. Extract the oil level indicator from the oil level indicator tube before removing the tube bolt and raising the tube out through the Exhaust Manifold. The replacement of only the oil level indicator tube seal requires discarding the aging seal. Return the oil level indicator together with its tube to their proper position before lowering the vehicle.
