2008 Buick LaCrosse Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to replace the rear suspension sway bar link on 2008 Buick LaCrosse?
A: The first step to replace the Sway Bar Link in the rear suspension involves vehicle suspension and support. Pull off the Sway Bar Link nut from both ends between the Sway Bar Link and sway bar before extracting also the Sway Bar Link nut from the Sway Bar Link and strut assembly. The Sway Bar Link must be removed from the vehicle during this step. You should start your installation process by attaching the Sway Bar Link to the vehicle before connecting it to the sway bar. The installation of the Sway Bar Link nut requires a torque setting of 50 n.m (37 lb ft) when connecting it to both the Sway Bar Link and sway bar. Use the Sway Bar Link to link with the strut before tightening the Sway Bar Link nut to 52 n.m (38 lb ft). Finally, lower the vehicle.
