When it comes to service and repair of the suspension strut, one can take it out of the vehicle, and with the Strut Spring Compressor, compress the spring. Unscrew the nut from the strut mount on the upper part, then loosen the compressor, unscrew the mount and spring. Remoan and compress them, and put the strut back and reconnect it into the car.
