Fit the en 46106 device to stop Crankshaft motion before taking out the camshafts and rocker arms. Set the j 39313 Spark Plug port adapter into the right cylinder opening and link it to compressed air through a Spark Plug. You should place the en 46110 on-vehicle valve spring compressor over the targeted cylinder area. Work carefully with valve springs under pressure because high tensions lead to personal injuries. Lowering initial valve spring pressure below 24.0 mm (0.943 in) risks straining the valve oil seal and causing harm. Install the valve spring compressor nut till tight then insert en 46117 valve stem key remover/installer to take off valve keepers. Rotate the en 46110 valve spring compressor nut to loosen its pressure while moving the valve spring retainer and springs out of the way to substitute the valve stem seal you will use the en 46116 valve stem seal remover/installer. Begin by putting in the en 46116 then proceed to attach the valve spring and valve spring retainer. Position the valve spring compressor tool en 46110 atop the valve spring and fasten its nut tight. Position the valve keepers with tapered ends facing the valve stem seal before inserting them into en 46117. Take off the en 46110 while you disconnect j 39313 from the compressed air supply for removal. After installing the spark plugs put on the rocker arms and camshafts before placing the Starter motor back into position.
