    A: When replacing a Brake Master Cylinder first disconnect the fluid sensor and brake pipes from it and install protective covers on the exposed pipes to keep brake fluid inside. Remove the two mounting nuts from each side of the master cylinder and take it out from its position. When resusing the reservoir you must separate it from the master cylinder. If removing the Brake Master Cylinder reservoir install it back on then perform a bench bleed of the system. Fit the master cylinder to the vacuum booster unit and fasten it with the two mounting nuts while tightening them to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Connect the brake pipes to the master cylinder after you removed their plugs and tighten each fitting to 29 n.m (21 lb ft). Connect the electrical connector back to the Brake Fluid Level Sensor afterward you should purge air from the brake system.
