In order to balance the engine and transmission mounts, loosen the engine mount strut bolt and put the engine support fixture. Tighten the engine and transmission mount nuts, and then lower the car, to ensure there is zero load. Lift the powertrain, position it on the frame, and re-fit the mounts, being sure of correct adjustment of the torque and preloading.
