There are two steps to replace the fuel tank pressure sensor: first disconnect the sensor from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister and then install the new sensor back into the canister. To install the tank pressure sensor users must first securely position it onto the canister until complete seating occurs before connecting its electrical connector and lowering the vehicle.
