• Q: How to replace the lower intake manifold on the LY7 VIN 7 without Direct Fuel Injection or LP1 on 2008 Cadillac CTS?

  A: To remove the lower Intake Manifold on the ly7 vin 7 no direct fuel injection or lp1, the preceding actions should be performed - turn the ignition off and take off the fuel injector sight shield. Next, remove the air outlet duct, write down the booster hose routing before removing the Brake Booster check valve and hose. Reposition the Brake Booster hose onto the Intake Manifold, then unplug the purge solenoid valve electrical connector, the purge line from the purge solenoid valve, along with the fuel injector harness electrical connector, as well as the throttle body electrical connector. Drain the worst fluid and inject with standard fluid between plugs to help you help. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose from the right bank camshaft cover, the barometric pressure sensor electrical connector, and the Intake Manifold runner control solenoid electrical connector.
