How to replace the knock sensor on 2008 Cadillac DTS?

The Knock Sensor replacement begins with removal of the Intake Manifold. If necessary disconnect the electrical connector from the right Knock Sensor and the electrical connector from the left Knock Sensor before replacement. Continue by removing the correct Knock Sensor while keeping in mind that the cylinder heads are not shown with hardware for clarity. New Knock Sensor installation requires proper tightening to a torque of 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Afterward, attach the electrical connector to both the left and right knock sensors provided the sensors have their own connectors. Finally, reinstall the Intake Manifold.
