How to replace the lash adjuster on the right side on 2008 Cadillac DTS?

To replace the Lash Adjuster on the right, first remove out the right valve rocker arms. Second, have the stationary hydraulic lash adjusters (SHLA) removed from the bores and clean/inspect the lash adjusters. It is very important not to stroke or cycle the shla plunger without the lower pressure chamber oil so furnish the shla with clean engine oil and when filling the shla ensure that there is no scratching of the pivot sphere location of the shla. Next, install the new shla into the bores and reinstall the right valve rocker arms.
