How to service and repair the steering linkage inner tie rod on 2008 Cadillac Escalade ESV?

Start the process of repairing the steering linkage inner tie rod by taking away the engine shield whenever it exists. Begin service and repair of the steering linkage inner tie rod by removing its outer tie rod connection. The Inner Tie Rod Wrench (J 34028) allows you to disconnect the steering linkage inner tie rod from its relay rod position. Apply suitable denatured alcohol or equivalent to clean the steering linkage inner tie rod threads until complete dryness occurs. Exterior threads of the steering linkage inner tie rod require application of red LOCTITE(TM) threadlocker which has GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488). Use the Inner Tie Rod Wrench (J 34028) to install the steering linkage inner tie rod onto the relay rod until it achieves a torque of 100 N.m (74 lb ft). Put back the steering linkage outer tie rod along with engine shield if present before performing front toe adjustment.
