How to replace the Sway Bar Link (Z71) on 2008 Chevrolet Colorado?

Beginning replacement of the Sway Bar Link (Z71) requires that the vehicle elevates and supports itself. The first step requires the removal of the tire together with the wheel assembly. With the proper size wrench you must hold the link ball stud before removing the link nut at the sway bar followed by the link nut at the lower Control Arm. Take the Sway Bar Link out from both the sway bar and the lower Control Arm before proceeding. Put the Sway Bar Link into position between the lower Control Arm and sway bar before you begin using your hand to tighten both nuts slowly. All users must pay attention to the fastener notice which concerns warnings about vehicle damage. The link ball stud should receive proper size wrenches for tightening the link nut to 44 n.m (32 lb ft). Reinstall the tire and wheel assembly before removing the support. Finally lower down the vehicle.
