Users should apply anti-seize compound GM P/N 5613695 on the threads of the new sensor for installation when needed since this compound consisting of liquid graphite and glass beads helps with future removal operations. Trim the new HO2S by tightening it to 42 N.m (31 lb ft) through the use of the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B). During the completion connect the HO2S harness connector and lower the vehicle down.
