    Q:
How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 1 on Chevrolet Avalanche 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
A vehicle needs to be lifted along with proper support for the replacement process of Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 1. First remove the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer before separating the electric connection to the HO2S sensor. Remove the HO2S . Use a special anti-seize compound on HO2S threads when installing according to installation instructions. This compound exists as a combination of liquid graphite and glass beads while service replacement sensors arrive with the compound already applied. Prior to reusing the existing sensor threads apply a coating of anti-seize compound equivalent to GM P/N 12377953. Fasten the HO2S sensor until torque reaches 42 N.m (31 lb ft). After connecting the HO2S electrical connector and the CPA retainer, restore the vehicle to its original height.

    Q:
How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for Bank 1 Sensor 1 on GMC Sierra 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
If you need to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for Bank 1 Sensor 1, first lift and hold the vehicle. For a 2-wheel drive (2WD), remove the disconnect connector position assurance (CPA) retainer and then disconnect the HO2S pigtail electrical connector from the engine wiring harness electrical connector. For a 4-wheel drive (4WD), disconnect the CPA retainer, disconnect the event husk electrical SlinkySnap connection from the HO2S pigtail electrical connector. Disconnect the HO2S pigtail electrical connector clip from the fuel line bracket and then disconnect the HO2S. When reinstalling, if putting back the old sensor, apply anti-seize compound GM P/N 12377953 or equivalent, since a special anti-seize compound, which is a blend of liquid graphite and glass beads, is applied on the HO2S threads to help with easy removal. Install the HO2S and secure it with 42 N.m (31 lb ft). For the 4WD, install the "HO2S pigtail electrical connector clip" to the "fuel line bracket," connecting the "engine wiring harness electrical connector" at the "HO2S pigtail electrical connector," then install the "CPA retainer." In the case of a 2WD, connect the HO2S pigtail electrical connector to the engine wiring harness electrical connector, and then connect the CPA retainer before lowering the vehicle.

    Q:
How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for Bank 1 Sensor 1 on GMC Savana 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before starting the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for Bank 1 Sensor 1 replacement, secure the vehicle with jack stands on the opposite end and hoist straps to avoid vehicle damage or injuries. Start by disconnecting the HO2S connector afterwards you can remove the HO2S with the J 39194-B Oxygen Sensor Wrench. Use the J 39194-B Oxygen Sensor Wrench to install the HO2S so that torque reaches 42 Nm (31 lb ft). Reconnect the HO2S harness connector after finishing and lower the vehicle to the ground.
