How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor for Bank 2 Sensor 2 on GMC Sierra 1500 Classic?

Start the replacement of Bank 2 Sensor 2 Heated Oxygen Sensor by using proper vehicle support and elevated position. Separate the CPA retainer and unplug the HO2S electric connection. Then, remove the bank 2 HO2S . Special anti-seize compound consisting of liquid graphite and glass beads must be used for threading the HO2S and manufacturers supply this compound before delivery. To reinstall the original HO2S you should apply the anti-seize compound GM P/N 12377953 or another equivalent product to the threads. Fasten the bank 2 HO2S using a torque of 42 N.m (31 lb ft). Connect the HO2S electrical connector before installing the CPA retainer while lowering the vehicle to complete the installation.
