    How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for Bank 1 Sensor 1 on Chevrolet Express 2500? Posted by Customer

    To replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S), Bank 1 Sensor 1, first, lift the vehicle and ensure that it is securely positioned on jack stands at the opposite side from where parts are being removed, and apply straps to the machine to prevent any accident or harm. Unplug the connector for the HO2S then unbolt HO2S using the J 39194-B Oxygen Sensor Wrench. When installing the new sensor, use anti-seize compound GM P/N 5613695 is needed according to the threads, as the described composition consists of a liquid graphite mixture of various glass beads that makes the removal of the sensor easier in the future. Mount the HO2S with the J 39194- B,afterwards tighten the HO2S to 42 Nm (31 lb ft) and reconnect the HO2S harness connector lower the vehicle.
