To install the front lower Control Arm Bushing vertically, make sure you have these tools: assemble j 21474-01, j 21474-27, j 21474-2, j 21474-4, j 21474-13, j 23444-a, j 34126, and j 35379 for the job. The first thing to do is take off the lower Control Arm and put it in a vice. Put a mark on the lower Control Arm where the bushing flange meets the flat edge. Put j 23444-a on j 21474-27's threads, then assemble the bushing removal tools: assemble j 21474-27, j 21474-13, j 3412 disassemble the bushing removal tools. During installation, make sure the vertical bushing in the lower Control Arm is set up to keep the car's handling and ride as it was before. Make sure the flat edge of the bushing flange is at the mark on the Control Arm, placed 30 degrees away from centerline and with the thin slot facing outside. Put the bushing into place in the Control Arm, put j 23444-a on j 21474-27's threads, and use the bushing installation tools: put j 21474-27, j 21474-13, j 21474-5, and j 21474-4 in place, and then tighten j 21474-4. When you're done, separate the bushing installation tools and put the lower Control Arm in place.
